The Alto Golf Club is located 5 to 10 minutes from the villa at the nearby town of Alvor. The Alto is a friendly, welcoming golf course that welcomes visitors who are new to the game of golf, as well as the experienced low handicappers.
The facilities are very good, including a well stocked club shop, bar & restaurant. It is adviseable to book at busy times, they also offer a twilight option for anyone who cant make a full day.
The course itself was the last course to be designed by Sir Henry Cotton.
