Overview

The Penina golf course is one of the most prestigious and famous golf courses in Europe and is located within a few miles from the villa, in fact you can see the hotel from the top of the hill that Oasis Parque is located on.

There are 3 courses available at the resort, the Sir Henry Cotton Championship course is the original and is named after its designer, it was the first course to be built in the Algarve, is open all year round and has hosted events on the european tour. The resort course does not require a handicap and the academy course is a 9 hole ideal for the novice golfer.

Prestige Golf Course

This course has hosted events on the european PGA tour (10 Portugese opens as of 2015), the hotel has hosted the England football team during training for Euro 2004 and the golf course is always of a very high standard.

The Penina resort was recently voted as Portugal's leading golf resort by the World Travel Awards, and offers courses that suits players of a very high standard, including professionals, whilst also accomodating the novice. These standards come at a price of course, the championship course costs over €100 for a round.
