Slide & Splash is a water park at Lagoa, approximately 10 minutes drive from the villa. It has an area suitable for young children, a large swimming pool, and many big, fast rides suitable for the older kids.
There are also several restaurants/cafes meaning you are able to spend all day within the complex. It does get busy in the summer months, we have found the best times to go are in June, the weather is hot and the park is relatively quiet, but all the rides are open.
The favourite slide of the more adventerous is the "Black Hole", where you are placed in a rubber dinghy and plunged into total darkeness through the tubes, popping out the other end in front of everyone in the queue, normally whilst you are screaming !
