Aqualand (aka the Big One) has been closed for renovation in recent times but should be open again in time for the 2015 summer season. In a similar fashion to Slide & Splash, Aqualand has large fast rides, a childrens area, restaurants and cafes and is a good place for a family to spend an entire day.
The fastest ride is called the Banzai, which is almost a vertical drop where you sit on mat and cling on for dear life, but there is also a great lazy river where you can float around the park taking in the sites which last for approximately 20 minutes.
The park is located close to Albufeiura and is approximately 30 minutes drive from the villa.
